The University of Warwick Archery Club (UWAC) is an informal and inclusive student-run sports club providing a friendly atmosphere for its members to meet, socialise and shoot together.

In August UWAC was asked, by the fencing society, if they would like to join the Warwick University Combat Sports’ Union (WUCSU).

The sun held out for UWAC’s first charity shoot on the 27th June. It was in support of Helen and Douglas house, a charity who provide hospice and end of life care to children and young adults.

To increase the number of opportunities to get involved in outdoor competitions this season and to give more archers a chance to make a qualifying score for BUCS Outdoor entry, this month UWAC teamed up with the University of Birmingham Archery Club to host two friendlies.

The final leg of the inter Midlands university competitions took place on the 21st February and was hosted by The University of Birmingham.
