Posted by David Richardson on 2nd June 2015

UWAC Archers Tom Hall and Matthew Dale have both been selected for the world university games this July, being held in Gwangju, Korea!

Both archers and Jorge Lindley attended the ArcheryGB selection shoot in late April for this year’s world championships and came out with outstanding scores. All archers shot 2 WA720 rounds which were then combined together. Tom came 12th, Jorge 21st, and Matt 20th in their respective categories. Tom was selected along side Oxford’s Alex Smith and Birmingham’s Ashe Morgan to represent the gents recurve team, making it a BUTTS league lockout for gents recurve. Matt will be joined by Jordan Mitchell and Phillip Tucknott for the gents compound team.

The World University Games will be held between the 3rd and 14th of July this year and all of UWAC is behind Tom and Matt with their support. Strong shooting guys!
