Sessions

Due to University rules, this club is open to only students and staff of the University of Warwick.

Any new archers, please note that in order to shoot with us you must first complete a full beginners' course. The club typically runs two or three beginners' courses each year. These take place at the start of Term 1 and sometimes at the start of Term 2. If you completed a beginners course elsewhere or are already an experienced archer, please contact our executive committee for more information.

Our indoor sessions take place in Zone D of the Sports and Wellness Hub, while our outdoor sessions take place on Varsity Field, across the road from the pub of the same name. Details about accessibility can be found on our dedicated page.

Session Times

In line with latest Archery GB and government guidance, you should wear a face covering at all times during club sessions apart from when actively shooting, unless exempt. Hand sanitiser will be provided.

To comply with current Covid regulations, you must book before you attend regular club sessions, both on archr and also on the Warwick Sport booking system. If you have not booked on archr you risk being turned away from a session. If you do not have an archr account, you can contact our Records Officer, James.

If you have bought a beginners' course ticket, you only need to book on to the session through the Warwick Sport system—this is so your card will let you through the barriers at the Sports Hub entrance. Instructions on how to book using the system can be found here:
